When compared to aluminium spinnaker poles, carbon poles will save you at least 40% in weight, maybe even more. Even though they are lighter, they are almost 50% stiffer than the aluminium poles, which means they will be easier to handle and give you better sailing performance.
Dimensions of a spinnaker pole will be determined by the size of the spinnaker and by the righting moment of the sailboat. If the pole will only be used for running, it can be lighter than a pole which will also be used for reaching.
