This Vang is more powerful, safer, and easier to use than its competitors, including mechanical vangs.It features an extra - large piston rod to resist buckling, and can also provide boom lift in light air or act as a topping lift when the sail is flaked. Add a Push Button Quick Release Valve to instantaneously dump the vang when needed.

An electronic read-out indicates the vang position for accurate boom positioning when furling.
